We formed Different League because we want to share the passion and excitement we feel when we travel to watch great quality football in different leagues across the UK and Europe. Our small group trips are a laugh and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people.
Ethical
We have become increasingly disillusioned at the corporate culture which is strangling the beautiful game in too many countries, including the UK. We want to kick back against that in our own small way by spending our hard-earned money on watching matches at football clubs which are owned by their fans. This limits the number of places we go to and can sometimes cost more but at the same time we get to visit some wonderful places.
Sustainable
We want to minimise our collective carbon footprint, so we try to get to the places we travel to by land and sea rather than by airplane. This can mean Different League trips can sometimes take an extra day or two, but we believe it is worth it. When we reach our destination, we select sustainable (but also high quality) accommodation. Once we are there, we want you to enjoy local culture and to sample the best of locally produced cuisine.
Quality
We don’t want to compromise on quality, so we invest a lot in researching every element of our trips meticulously, from ensuring you have the best VIP experience at the football to introducing you to fantastic local cuisine, to sorting out optimum travel arrangements. We are passionate about making sure it is you that benefit from that research. All our research and preparation is aimed at ensuring that your trip will be a great and memorable experience which you will want to repeat time and again.
